Details

This is the best replica skull available, from the rare and elusive Acrocanthosaurus, a meat-eating dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous. This replica is cast from the most complete skull ever found for this genus and species. The original skull is so complete that it has been described, to represent the entire genus and species. The skull is almost as long as Tyrannosaurus rex, yet much narrower. It appears to be very similar to, and almost as long as, Carcharodontosaurus from North Africa, and Gigantosaurus from Argentina.

Easily transported to off-site locations for outreach programs, promotional opportunities, etc.

Check out the Acrocanthosaurus page for more on this specimen.
